For the men and women who build America’s energy infrastructure, President Donald Trump’s Executive order embracing offshore energy development is a welcome sign that means good jobs and more affordable energy.

 

America’s energy needs are vast and growing. With today’s executive order, we have opened up opportunities to develop our own domestic energy resources to meet those needs and to safely develop our resources.

 

LIUNA commends President Trump for forging a sound energy policy that has the potential to create thousands of good blue collar jobs in the energy industry, boost the economy, and power America’s homes and businesses now and in the future.
