St. Paul Monthly Membership Meeting-2nd Monday of every month at 6:00 p.m.
Mankato Informational Meeting-2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
Red Wing Informational Meeting-3rd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m.
Retiree Meeting St. Paul office-4th Wednesday of every month at 1:00 p.m.

Vacation Account - Two Types of Payouts

Automatic Payout - Applications for your vacation payout will be mailed to you around October 15th of each year from Zenith Administrators.  In order to receive your vacation check, you must fill out the form according to the directiions and return it to Zenith before the deadline in order to receive your check in December.  This check will pay you only for the time period of may of the previous year to May of the current year.
Special Payout - You are entitled to ONE special payout per calendar year.  You must fill out a special payout form on or before the 25th of each month to receive your check the following month.  A $7.00 service fee will be charged and will be taken off the top of your check amount.  You will receive all funds in your account minus the $7.00.  There are no special payouts in the month of December.  Forms are available in the office.

How To Join A Union

You must apply directly with a Union Contractor, by filling out an application at their offices.  Once you are hired and start work, call our office at 651-487-1070 and a Business Agent will stop at your job site to sign you up to the Union.  Initiation to join the Union is $450.00 plus the 1st months dues of 29.00.

Bill Peterson Scholarships
The Bill Peterson Scholarship Committee is sponsoring $1000 scholarships to union members in good standing, or their children whose union contributed to the Bill Peterson Scholarship Fund.  Applications are available in the Union Hall or by going to www.mnaflcio.org

2009 Minnesota AFL-CIO Scholarships
The Minnesota AFL-CIO sponsors scholarships for high school senior graduating in 2009.  There are three requirements for the MN AFL-CIO scholarships to be eligible:
1.  Be a Union Member or a dependent of the union memeber whose local union is affiliated with the MN AFL-CIO
2.  Have a straight B average or better (2.0 in a 3.0 grade point system/3.0 in a 4.0 grade point system)
3.  Attend a post - secondary institution located within the state of Minnesota.
Applications are available in the Union Hall.
