LIUNA works to help employers make jobsites safer.

The construction industry routinely accounts for one in 10 of all non-fatal workplace injuries and one in five of work fatalities in 2005. That's higher than any industry sector. 

LIUNA works to improve safety and health on the job by working with employers, members and government agencies.

The union offers top-notch training, construction English classes, English-Spanish guidebooks and labor-management safety programs.
