On behalf of the 500,000 members of the Laborers' International Union of North America, I congratulate Commissioner Willie Phillips on being named the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Acting Chairman.

Mr. Phillips understands the importance of our national energy production, its resilience, and most of all, the hardworking men and women who build it.

Thousands of LIUNA members go to work every day keeping the lights on for millions of Americans, across every sector of our nation's energy infrastructure network. LIUNA applauds the Biden Administration's historic appointment of Mr. Phillips.

We applaud Acting Chairman Phillips and look forward to working with him to ensure that energy projects create good jobs building our
